1950s – attends Chelsea Art School
1950s – exhibits Royal Academy Open
1950s – meets Caeria Strong through mutual friends; move in together in Blackheath
Late 50s, early 60s – early solo exhibitions
1962 – moves to Cornwall with Caeria and first child; buys a smallholding with Caeria to bring up family, run a self-sufficiency small-holding and continue painting.
Starts teaching across Cornwall for Local Education Authorities, Art Societies and groups; life-drawing and painting, Art History and appreciation. Joins Camel Arts Society based in Wadebridge. Re-kindles an earlier interest in photography.
1988 – moves to Tintagel
1995 - forms The North Cornwall 7 Group with Roger Farnworth, Rosalind Eastman, Neil Lowden, Caeria Strong, Chris Thomas and Stuart Lowden
1988 - 2017 concentrates on painting, developing an interest in photography, exhibiting widely in Cornwall, London and Germany. Gardening is given equal time as a creative pursuit.
2017 - dies Christmas Eve.
